mio helps with balancing the workload and training new starters for Blundells in Crystal Peaks

We spoke to Samantha Hinch, Branch Manager at Blundells in Crystal Peaks, Sheffield to discuss her experience of using mio

The introduction of mio at first was slightly daunting due to the fact that we’ve all done the job for quite some time and thought we wouldn’t pick it up very quickly but literally the minute we started using mio and transferring our properties over we were all buzzing!

What first appealed to us about mio is the way it looks; it’s modern, it’s user friendly, and the fact that you can invite vendors and purchasers to the app and they can message you directly. We were all quite excited to try it.

We’ve not used any kind of sales progression software before so it’s something new and different that we can shout about to potential vendors. It’s also really nice to be able to explain to buyers that they can just log on to the app to see updates and message us. The instant messaging feature is my favourite because it makes it so easy to contact whoever you want to speak to and keep them updated. With mio, buyers and sellers can see that we’re doing the work and chasing solicitors on their behalf, so it’s been great.

mio is so easy to use with each step there to follow and what’s needed next and our valuer is very much on board as well and uses it during appointments. The whole team is using it quite heavily at the moment. It’s been really good for our new starter on the training side of things too, and teaching them the sales progression process with the milestones. 

With mio, you’ve got your tasks, you know exactly what you’re chasing and when you’re chasing it – and all of us can see it in the office. So, if for example, another member of the team is bogged down with work, we can see in mio what’s left to do and one of us can jump on and help our colleague out. And, as a manager, I can see what is outstanding and staff know I can see it, so they know it’s got to be done that day. It helps us keep on top of everything and clear all tasks everyday, even with a large pipeline, which is really important.

Other agents should take notice of mio because it saves a lot of phone calls and you can see what the key milestones are for you and the other agents in the chain; it just makes sales progression so much easier. I would definitely recommend it!
